OutBack Power, a designer and manufacturer of advanced power electronics for renewable energy, backup power and mobile applications, said that each session will include the opportunity to assemble in a controlled classroom environment all of the primary balance-of-system power components used in a typical residential or small commercial PV power installation.

“Attendees will have the opportunity to program the system for numerous operating modes and adjust the operational parameters as desired,” OutBack Power said.

“Topics to be covered include system commissioning with specific testing steps; key features and benefits of the Radian GS7048E inverter/charger; important design differences between off-grid and grid-interactive systems; steps required when performing load calculations; solar PV array sizing; component selection and system co-ordination.”
