On the ground at Carbon Expo Australasia 2012

Carbon Expo Australasia 2012, to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7–9 November, will incorporate free trade entry to its exhibition – now the largest carbon market show in Australia.

Carbon Expo Australasia will bring together Australian and international businesses to network and debate the latest information on carbon reduction initiatives.

The 2012 event will combine a carbon market trade fair with a conference of keynote plenary and panel presentations, as well as a series of technical workshops.

Carbon Trade Exchange, a global electronic exchange for the buying and selling of carbon credits, is a platinum sponsor and exhibitor at this year’s event, and its support means that for the first time, Carbon Expo will be opening its doors to the business community free of charge.

“With many parts of the business community still hesitant to embrace the concept of carbon reduction due to lack of knowledge, it’s fantastic to be able to offer this kind of enticement to hopefully encourage people to visit the expo to find out how to increase their company’s efficiency, bottom line and profit in a low carbon economy,” Carbon Trade Exchange Chief Executive Wayne Sharpe says.

Types of businesses exhibiting at this year’s expo include a range of energy providers, carbon offset originators, consultants, brokers, legal and accounting advisers, technology providers and suppliers of energy efficient and clean technology products.

EcoGeneration will be at stand 36 at Carbon Expo Australasia 2012 to keep the industry up-to-date with all of the analysis and policy planning coming out of the conference, and will be distributing this edition of the magazine to attendees as well as copies of its sister publication, Solar Australia magazine.
