Frasers Property Australia has received approval from the New South Wales Department of Planning to continue with the first phase of its old Carlton United Brewery site project.
The redevelopment will include an onsite natural gas-fired trigeneration plant.
Following the go-ahead, building works will now commence on the main park and related infrastructure such as roads, footpaths and traffic lights.
Work on the park is due to commence in February, and is expected to be completed within the year.
