Abigroup has been appointed to deliver wind turbine foundation structures for the Oaklands Hill Wind Farm near Glenthompson in western Victoria.
Abigroup will work with Suzlon, who will deliver the wind turbines for the AGL wind farm.
When completed, Oaklands Hill Wind Farm will have an installed capacity of 63 MW, which will generate enough energy to power 35,000 homes and save 185,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions.
Preparatory works on the project have now commenced, with a significant portion of the works due to be completed by August 2010.
