Juergen Peterseim to showcase CSP hybridisation at EcoGen 2011

EcoGen 2011 is pleased to announce that Juergen Peterseim, PhD candidate at the University of Technology Sydney, will present a paper to delegates at the clean energy industry’s premier Conference and Exhibition, to be held from 5–7 September at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Mr Peterseim’s paper will investigate the feasibility of concentrated solar power (CSP) and energy fromwaste plants from a technical perspective, and he will explore the economic and social benefits of hybrid power plants.
With a focus on how fuel hybridisation can overcome the low capacity factor and specific investment problem of CSP plants, Mr Peterseim will bring a high level of technical knowledge and scientific detail to EcoGen 2011.

Mr Peterseim completed his Industrial Engineering Degree in 2003, and has since worked in the field of industrial ecology with a focus on heat recovery systems, energy from biomass and waste, as well as CSP.

In March 2011, Mr Peterseim began his PhD at the Institute for Sustainable Futures.
