First Solar has announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2013, with net sales totalling $US755 million ($A740 million) in the quarter, a decrease of $US320 million ($A314 million) from the fourth quarter of 2012 and an increase of $US258 million ($A235 million) from the first quarter of 2012.
