Hosted by Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s multi-billion dollar co-operative future energy initiative, the summit has attracted sponsorship from Deutsche Bank Climate Change Advisors and Emirates Aluminium.
A roundtable discussion organised by the International Renewable Energy Alliance (REN Alliance), entitled Accelerating the Deployment of Renewable Energy, will take place on the first day of the summit, at which the REN Alliance will outline its strategic work programme for the next years, with special reference to the cooperation with the International Renewable Energy Agency.
Other discussions at the summit, which runs from 18 - 21 January 2010, will cover climate change policy, carbon capture and storage, energy efficiency, renewable technologies, as well as finance, economics and management.
EcoGeneration magazine and the Australian Clean Energy Directory will be distributed at the summit by Austrade.
